I couldn't resist. I bought these for my students to taste in the bus. So American, and I can't find them in France.
We often made our own waffles at our hotels. What big breakfasts we had! This little American boy on vacation enjoyed his waffles with maple syrup too, and bacon and eggs!
It wasn't planned for us to eat here. Something unexpected happened on Thursday, the day before going to Yellowstone. We were very lucky that this lodge-restaurant in the middle of nowhere was able to feed so many of us.
And what were they able to prepare for 30 unexpected customers?
If you haven't guessed yet, this is it! We ate them often. Hamburgers? NO!
Bison burgers! And here we also had elk burgers on the menu.
Nicole gives it a try.
And Philippe too. Get ready.
First taste.
Mmmmm.
And again for more!
Irène had a full plate too.
Irène and Sylviane
Marlène and Geneviève too.
So we didn't have our lunch at Greybull, Wyoming as planned.
And we didn't have our dinner here at Hotel Irma's in Cody either. What a pity.
We had a carry-out dinner instead that we ate in our hotel rooms at 11 o'clock at night! But that's another story for another student to tell.

Some drank Dr. Pepper
Some drank Coors beer. It's Colorado's beer.
Have I made you hungry? Wouldn't you love eating another bison burger? Sorry, none here.
A few more food pictures to come in another post.
My best,
Jane
