We'll be leaving Denver on June 17th to head for the city of Cheyenne, 101 miles away. (Kilometers??? Easy math here. 160 km) So, we'll be crossing the state line and entering Wyoming on our second day. Before leaving Colorado, a few move interesting facts about Denver:
7. Denver is one of the
few cities in the country that wasn’t built on a road, railroad, lake or
navigable body of water. Settlers came here because of the
gold found there.
8. Denver collects more money for the arts per capita than any other US city.
9. The 16th Street Mall in Denver was designed by master
architect I.M. Pei, who also created the glass pyramid outside of the Louvre in
Paris.
10. The Denver mint is the single largest producer of coins in
the world. You can tell if a coin is made in Denver by a D mark on the coin.
AND...Denver currently has more marijuana dispensaries than Starbucks and McDonalds combined.
With that last bit of information, sit back and enjoy the drive to Cheyenne while listening to Rocky Mountain High (in Colorado) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODrHGZPxO3Y

What's the singer's name? John DENVER! Henry John Deutschendorf Jr changed his name to John Denver because he loved the mountains!
My best,
Jane
